Artist's Comments
Victoria Sponge cake again, covered in black fondant and royal icing. We originally wanted to do a tiara on top of this cake, but were too nervous having not practiced before, so we attempted at a necklace and failed. Nevertheless, we were impressed by how sturdy royal icing was, being the first time we really used it. The small cakes have pre-made flowers on top, the smaller ones of icing and the larger ones of wafer, then the roses and the larger cake were dusted with lustre dust. We melted the black fondant and used it liquidated for the smaller cakes.
